PRICING & PRINTING

PRICING

Our invitation suites are custom priced because no two orders are identical. What causes prices to be so different?  The Number of invitations, Paper, Card Type, Printing method(s), Embellishments, Accessories, and Mailing services are just a few.  The average couple will spend anywhere from $575-$1200 on invitations.

HOW MANY

The number of invitations is the first piece to affect the price.  The less you have, the higher the cost per invitation.  The Golden Acorn Design Co LLC has a minimum order requirement of 25 invitations with RSVP's, mailing envelopes and RSVP  envelopes.

PAPER

The type of paper you choose for your invitation also affects the pricing of your invitation. Cream/Ivory papers are more expensive than white.  Handmade paper choices also affect the price.  There are literally thousands of papers that can be used for invitations.

FLAT CARD VS. LAYERED

Flat card invitations are just that, a single, flat card with the information printed on the card.  A layered invitation has more than one card or vellum, which adds to the price of the invitation.

PRINTING

The printing method(s) you choose to use on your invitation is the largest factor in the pricing for your invitation.  Straight digital printing is the least expensive. However, many couples also desire foil stamping, letterpress, thermography, or the newest rage, white ink.  All are gorgeous but are more expensive because of the materials labor that goes into creating these types of printing methods. EMBELLISHMENTS

Embellishments add to the price of invitations too.  Embellishments include belly bands, laser cutting, petal cards, gate cards, twine, wax seals or dried flowers, etc.

ACCESSORIES

Sometimes couples want other items added onto their suite.  These can include a ceremony booklet, menu cards, guest place cards, accommodation information, directions, table number cards, or a seating chart.

ENVELOPES

Envelope printing or calligraphy services also add to the price of an invitation suite.  Envelope printing however, does have its pros.  It saves time from having to hand address mailing envelopes and RSVP envelopes.  Calligraphy services vary in price depending on the individual calligrapher.

MAILING SERVICES

In today's busy world more and more couples are requesting that their invitations be mailed for them upon completion.  The service is the cost of the stamps and labor to put them on the envelopes and to physically mail them.
